What an exciting and profitable night in sports last night. We had a lot of you take complete advantage of our guaranteed plays going 4-0, that’s correct. For some who understand it takes money to make money you did exactly that. That’s great if your only interested in Nfl football, College football or other individual leagues, but this is where you can cost yourself thousands of dollars each season by letting easy winners cross your plate. The bottom line is you need to capitalize on these plays nightly. Are we going to win every game, NO. But we are the professionals and you are the students. I do not care if you make money playing a few games on your own, you can never have enough. This week was all PROFIT, and we look to be staying on the same train. Buy your ticket to an incredible college bowl package for a measly $99.95 or if your a mizer, pick up on some of our guaranteed plays nightly. No sales bulls**t just pick the game and play what you want, we will win or your money back. No questions asked, you will have you money back $24.95 in your pockets the next morning. We do not get paid if you loose. Stop paying the books every week and start following the absolute most legitimate handicapping sports service on the strip today. Its Timing, its who you know, being on the winning end so like I always say , lets win big, grab you sports balls and lets rock. Looking forward to crushing the books this weekend and throughout the bowl package.

Different decades, different paths to the NBA, different numbers, but same positions , and the same league ! The question is can Kobe Bryant be classified in the same category as Michael Jordan? Or the other question is Kobie Bryant better than Michael Jordan ? Los Angeles Lakers and the Chicago Bulls, no question they both are dynasties in sports franchises. High schooler from Pennsalvania and a college champion from the North Carolina Tarheels. The matchup both weighing in around 210 lbs standing 6ft 6 inches one looks to have a little bit of an edge with more years to come.
Kobe Bryant has won 4 NBA championships in Los Angeles , compared to Jordan’s 6 NBA championships in Chicago. Michael Jordan is leading in total points scored with over 32,000 but Kobe is on pace within the next 5 NBA seasons to catch Jordan. This should be very obtainable for Bryant to do as long as he stays healthy. Although just recently breaking a finger on his shooting hand he is still scoring 35 to over 40 points a game, incredible. The one thing even if we cant agree on who’s better, is that these to gentlemen are phenomenal athletes with super human powers to take it to another level. Did I mention Kobe hates being compared to Michael Jordan.
The amazing thing is that they both have also had off the court controversies which is just one more comparison. Kobe was accused in 2003 of raping a 19 year old girl in Eagle Colorado but in 04 she dropped sexual assault charges against him steeling on an undisclosed amount. Michael Jordan’s off the court troubles were in the gambling arena,, which I believe spend your money how you choose. Jordan has been seen spending large amounts of cash on the golf course to the casinos in Atlantic City NJ to Las Vegas NV at the sports books . Even though these to amazing athletes have plenty of similarities and looking at a few statics most people would see a very close comparison but you do not need a magnifying glass or a statistical fanatic to see that Jordan is hands down the best NBA player ever to have played the game.

For years I’m sure you can relate to believing it comes down to getting lucky – but that’s where you have made a mistake and is the reason that every season you run into the same wall. Today, I am going to let you in to a very important word that I was taught when I was a little boy by some of the most influential people that would come to Vegas.
See, yes its true “it’s who you know” – but that’s just the beginning. Following wealthy, successful people and what they do and duplicating that same process is where it changes your outcome tremendously. I’ve sat in on many projects, conferences, meetings and have an extensive background in sports and I can tell you one thing – it’s never brought up to the average people who collect debt all their lives that they need to get in early and ride the trend until they see that everyone is in that’s when its time to get out. I’m not a genius and I don’t have a crystal ball, but I can tell you this – my success has not come from me pulling rabbits out of my hat, either. There is no word in my story book about being Lucky! Again, do we at Sure Call Sports win every game that we are on? Absolutely not, but I can tell you this: following trends that you, as average public players cannot get information on is where we pull ahead of the race. Vegas looks the way it does because people take it upon their own to feel its going to be their lucky day. Don’t get caught into those beliefs. Last night, we took advantage of 4 games – 2 in the NBA , 1 game in the NFL and 1 NHL game – where we knew the posted lines were off. We ended up going 3-1 and capitalized our bank rolls and our customers bank rolls. All three winners were dogs that all won outright. Is that luck? Cleveland Browns in the NFL +10 winning huge outright 13-6 over the Pittsburgh Steelers, also we had the Washington Wizards +9 1/2 losing to Boston by only 2, Utah Jazz +3 winning outright 120-111 against Orlando. The only loss of the night was in hockey where we took the Philadelphia Flyers. So do yourself a favor and stop running into the same wall day in and day out. Check us out www.surecallsports.com . Stop throwing your money out the window, put your pride aside and let’s make it a winning day!!!!

Is it Tiger season? There’s a Tiger on the prowl. Has there been any Tiger sightings lately? Probably not, as we as Americans have felt it is our right to integrate the famous and engage into there private lifestyles. Who’s business and issues are these anyways ? You can turn on the television anytime, any channel, any where and see the world of Tiger Woods being smeared all over the place as if he is the next OJ Simpson, a killer. Having millions of dollars, the highest paid athlete in 2008 (110 million) and everything people could dream of having in a lifetime, the question you have to ask yourself is would you want to be in his Nike golf shoes today?
Growing up an Asian-African American, he has defied all odds of playing on the pro tour. Born Eldrick Tont, “Tiger” Woods was destined at a very young age to be a professional golfer. Some believe that his father Earl Woods gave him no other choice but to play golf – he had him on the Mike Douglas show at the age of two putting against Bob Hope. This was just the beginning of an unbelievable career to come, from at age five he was in Golf Digest, to winning the Junior Championship four consecutive times from 1988 to 1991. He has shattered most every golfing record and has won 71 PGA tour wins including 14 majors , 4 of the 14 are the green jackets “The Masters”, 38 European Tour wins, etc…. I forgot to mention he turns 35 years old on December 30th with plenty more left in him to add to the accolades if he chooses. But this isn’t what we as nosy American are intrigued by today.
All these accomplishments have now been overlooked based on the allegations that we, society and all these mistresses are bringing up against him. Seems to me based on the media and women that have there stories to tell he was putting on the wrong playing surface at night. Is it that he is invincible and that this can never happen to me syndrome? Or maybe its that I am Tiger Woods and I can putt where ever and whenever I want? What else would Woods need in life being the most marketable athlete in the world and one of the sexiest trophies on his arm, his wife Elin Nordegren – a Swedish model who has given Tiger two beautiful children Sam Alexis Woods, a girl and a boy named Charlie Axel this past February. The bottom line is that he screwed up made some very poor decisions and unfortunately for Tiger his life is no longer private. Hopefully for his sake he can piece his relationship back with his wife but sorry Tiger, if I’m your wife I’m taking you to the cleaners and making you learn a lesson. Jackpot $$$$$

There’s an old expression that numbers do not lie, so take a look for yourself. Despite his small frame, Allen Iverson has put up some very impressive statistics. In 1996, Allen Iverson became the number one selection in the first round of the National Basketball Association. Right out of the gates, this compact shooting machine went on to become the Rookie of the Year for the Philadelphia 76ers for the 96-97 season. Judging the book by the cover, you might have thought you ran into someone that just stepped out of a maximum security prison. Pretty much covered from head to toe with ink, some of his tatoos look as if he was a test dummy for a rookie tattoo artist, but boy can he shoot a basketball.
Allen Iverson who stands a whopping 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds has held the NBA scoring title in 99-00, 00-01, 01-02 and from 04-05. Iverson ranks fifth all time in scoring with an average of 27.1 points per game. But we have to ask ourselves – does being a top scorer produce winning teams, or championship teams? Absolutely not, but as Philly fans and NBA fans across the nation will attest – he can put on a show stopping performance. The question I have is why would Philly want him back after all the drama that comes with a guy like Allen.
There’s absolutely no question that Iverson will be elected into the hall of fame, but when it comes down to why these players play the game – to win a championship – its not going to happen unfortunately for Iverson . As much as basketball fans love how he is balls to the wall, an over achiever, tough as nails on the court and off for his frame he is not willing to share the attention. And that is what it takes to win big games in big situations.
Last night was Iverson’s first time back in a Philly uniform playing against his former teammates, the Denver Nuggets. Iverson was shut down by scoring only 11 points in 36 minutes. Money wise the Sixers will capitalize with selling out the seats but I do not believe he is the answer. You cannot change people and their reputation that they insist on bringing to the table. Allen Iverson left Philly on a bad note the first go around, but unfortunately for him I don’t see that things are going to change .

At the young age of twenty nine years young, a boy, Michael Vick from the projects of Virgina has nothing left to lose. Losing everything but himself in 2007 , Michael has been given a second chance by the Philadelphia Eagles – quite ironic given the mascot is an animal (bird) . He was charged in 2007 for interstate dog fighting that operated for over a total of five years. Michael Vick plead guilty in August of 2007 to federal felony charges and was sent to federal prison for 23 months. Vick was released from federal prison after 18 months served for good behavior. Michael missed the last two NFL seasons, lost all of his endorsement deals and also lost what was left of his 100 million dollar deal. Vick had to in 2008 file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy because he hand nothing left other than the clothes on his back.
Michael Vick went from being the first pick in the first round of the 2001 NFL draft to wearing a federal corrections jumpsuit and being hated by everyone in the country including man’s best friend. Whats most surprising to me is how much attention Michael received and how much money was spent to make sure he was prosecuted to the fulest. Not that I agree with the barbaric decisions Vick made but you really need to look at the judicial system. If I’m not mistaken, Jason Williams – former NBA all-star – shot and killed his limousine driver Costas “Gus” Christofi while showing off his rifle and is only starring a 20 month sentence in his face and pretty much the life of an innocent man is being brushed under the carpet. I learned as a little boy that two wrongs do not make a right, but this bothers me very much. This makes no sense to me whats so ever how you can get away with murder?
Today Michael Vick game home to the team that gave him his first shot in the National Football League and soared to a victory over the Atlanta Falcons 34-7. What a special day for the fans who adored Vick for 6 seasons got to see him again in action, number 7 running all over the field carrying his team on his wings to a victory. Any Reid the coach of the Eagles named Michael Vick the captain today and earlier in the week predicted he would account for two touchdowns. Maybe Reid had a crystal football and knew the outcome for how this game would play out. So what will this do for Michael’s career in the NFL? His die hard Atlanta Falcon fans that welcomed him with open arms from a rookie out of Virgina Tech, were there again to give him a second chance.

Even if you absolutely hate the New York Yankees you still probably have a special place in your heart for the captain Derek Jeter. You can be in a coma and still agree that Derek Jeter is the definition of class – both on and off the baseball diamond. The way he represents Major League Baseball, the way he represents the city of New York, and oh yeah by the way the Turn 2 Foundation (which has given away over 10 million dollars to help children stay clean). Since his rookie season in 1996, Derek Jeter has been the most consistent, clutch baseball player and the most stand up role model in the sports today.
Since being named Rookie of the Year in 1996, Derek Jeter has not missed many accolades for his tenacious, finesse style of play. His first full season in the major leagues he was a big contributor of taking the team in pinstripes all the way for his first World Series Championship. This season Jeter added his fifth championship ring to his mantle by defeating the Philadelphia Phillies in six games. Jeter has won the All-Star MVP award and the World Series MVP award in the same season, the only player ever to do so. Not to mention he has been selected to the Major League Baseball All-Star game ten times. After a very memorable 2009 season, Jeter won his fourth Gold Glove and fourth Silver Slugger in a season where hit batted .334 with a .406 OBP. He was second in the American League in hits with 212. Thanks to his batting prowess, Derek also won the Hank Aaron Award as the best hitter in the AL. He received the Roberto Clemente Award for his commitment to service in the community.
Derek is the first New York Yankee player ever chosen to Sports Illustrated Sportsman Award. They started this award in 1954 and he joins the likes of Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, Michael Phelps, Tiger Woods and Lance Armstrong. For playing on a team with so many future Hall of Famers this should be something for them to be thankful for, having such a leader as a captain. Wanna be like Mike??? Maybe it should be” Air Jeter” or “I wanna be like Derek” ???
What a career – and it does not look like he is going to hang them up anytime soon. You can tell he is having a blast playing for the best franchise in sports. Not to mention he is the New York Yankees all time hits leader, passing Lou Gehrig this season. Looking forward to many more seasons to see what is next for this thirty five year old. Maybe President of the United States?
